We are looking for a passionate individual who is excited about working on groundbreaking technology that has helped over 3.5 million users connect worldwide. As an blog editor, you will be managing the blogs and ensuring valuable articles are released every month. You will be a key member of the marketing team while making a positive impact on the Muslim community.

Salams is a fast-paced start-up. Month-to-month activities can change drastically; to succeed in this role, flexibility and proactiveness are critical.

What You'll Do

As a fast-paced, growing startup, we're looking for a blog editor who will

• Edit, outline, publish, & assign content posts on the salams.app website
• Ensure that blog highlights are marketed over social media and the community page of our app.
• Collaborate with editorial, growth, and social teams.
• Assist with partner outreach for exclusive features + social takeovers.
• Steer and collaborate on developing our editorial calendar, passionately defend and enforce the content we create so that it adds value to an expanding digital audience of project creators, executive producers, accountants, and employees.
• Work with our social team to thoughtfully distribute the content from our calendar.
• Conduct keyword, user, and competitive research to ensure we're growing topline metrics.
• Adding content to Webflow.
• Collaborate with an existing team of external writers and copywriters.
• Work with designers to create beautiful assets for blog posts and other landing pages.
• Retroactive and forward looking optimization of all content for SEO to increase SERP rankings, inbound links, and organic traffic.
